Complaints

The primary role of the Board is to ensure that adequate and effective policing is provided in Toronto, in accordance with the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 (CSPA).

Concerns Related to Conduct of an Officer

Any concerns related to the conduct of Toronto Police Service officers are handled by the Law Enforcement Complaints Agency (LECA), an independent civilian oversight body responsible for police misconduct complaints in Ontario.

You may submit a complaint directly to LECA using their complaint form, by email leca@ontario.ca or by phone 1-877-411-4773
