Police Board to hold Virtual Public Consultation Sessions on Strategic Plan

 TORONTO:  The Toronto Police Service Board is holding two public consultation sessions to solicit input for the development of its Strategic Plan.

The Board is developing its 2025-2028 Strategic Plan (Strategic Plan) to ensure the provision of effective, equitable, and responsive policing across Toronto. In line with the Community Safety and Policing Act, 2019 and the Board’s Strategic Plan Policy, this plan will outline our priorities, objectives, and performance measures to enhance community safety and well-being in Toronto.

We invite you to join the Board’s virtual public consultations to help develop a strategic plan that reflects our community’s needs and priorities. This is an opportunity to make a difference and help us build a safer Toronto.

We are committed to a transparent and inclusive planning process, engaging with diverse community members, city officials, and organizations to align our efforts with local needs.  

Each meeting will proceed as a virtual meeting. It will include a presentation, small group breakout sessions and a Q&A.

The Toronto Police Service Board is the civilian body responsible for governing the Toronto Police Service. The Board is responsible for ensuring the provision of adequate and effective police services in the City of Toronto, setting priorities and objectives for the Toronto Police Service, approving the annual police budget and selecting the Chief of Police.
