XLIX LE-022 – Officer Note Taking

REPORTING REQUIREMENT
LEGISLATION	Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.15, as amended, ss. 31(1)(c), 41(1)(a).

It is the policy of the Toronto Police Services Board that the Chief of Police will:

Establish procedures relating to officer note taking, including the secure storage and retention of police officer notes; and
Ensure the ongoing training of members with regards to effective note taking.
