Public Consultations
Public consultations are a form of community engagement that allow residents to share their experiences, ideas, and concerns with the Board on issues that affect them. These conversations help the Board understand what matters most to people in Toronto and guide decisions about policing, community safety, and the policies that shape public service in the city.
The Board uses a variety of engagement methods — including surveys, meetings, roundtables, and other activities — to hear from many different voices. This includes individuals, neighbourhood groups, advocacy organizations, and others who bring important perspectives. All feedback is reviewed and helps inform the Board’s policies, priorities, and oversight responsibilities.
This page shares information about current and upcoming consultations, how to take part, and how your input is used. Public participation plays an important role in building a safer and more inclusive Toronto.
