DERIVATION |

It is the policy of the Toronto Police Services Board that:
- The Chief of Police will ensure that police officers in attendance at locations occupied solely by women in a state of partial or complete undress will conduct themselves in a manner consistent with human rights principles, giving consideration, in particular, to issues of gender sensitivity and women’s right to privacy; and
- The Chief of Police will develop and maintain procedures and processes for the attendance of officers at locations occupied solely by women in a state of partial or complete undress, having regard to the principles as articulated in this policy.
