REPORTING REQUIREMENT

 

LEGISLATION

Police Services Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.15, as amended, s. 31(1)(c).

DERIVATION

 

 

The Board elects a Chair at its first meeting of each year. This is a full-time position that carries with it a multitude of responsibilities. The position is entitled to remuneration established by Toronto City Council. 

It is the policy of the Toronto Police Services Board that: 

1. The Chair is entitled to select any or all of the benefits as listed below. 

  1. Medical, Dental and Semi-private coverage;
  2. Group Life Insurance;
  3. Accidental Death and Dismemberment;
  4. Long Term Disability; and
  5. OMERS Pension. 

2. The provision of any additional benefits to the Chair requires the approval of the Board.
