It is the policy of the Toronto Police Services Board that:
- The Chief of Police will develop procedures and processes that address the approval process and accountability mechanisms for internal task forces; and
- The Chief of Police will provide information in the annual report on the number of completed internal task forces established within the police service, the cost to the police service and whether they achieved their performance objectives.
